What information do you need?
Restarting a life in a new country isn’t easy. We’re here to walk alongside you as you build a life in Italy, and smooth your path when we can. The JNRC can help meet your urgent needs (like clothes, food, help navigating Italian bureaucracy) and the long-term ones (learning to speak Italian, finding a job).
The Center is also a place where you can come to relax, explore your creative side, and find community. There’s space to sit and talk, a small library, games, musical instruments, and art supplies. If you’re a soccer player, you can join our weekly game on Saturdays.
We serve all refugees and asylum seekers, no matter where you came from, what religion you practice, or your gender or sexual orientation. Our doors are open. We’re here to help.
What We Do
We are at the corner of via Nazionale and via Torino, a 10-minute walk from Termini train station.
The closest bus stops are Nazionale/Torino (lines 40, 60, 64, 70, 170, and H) or Nazionale/Quattro Fontane (lines 64, 70, 170, and H).
The closest metro stops are Repubblica (line A) and Termini (Lines A and B.)
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
Breakfast is served from 8:30 am – 10:00 am.
Supply Rooms are open 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.
Registration is available 8:30 am — 1:00 pm.
Our Location & Hours
First-time visitors:
We welcome new guests Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30am. When you arrive, go to the staff office right at the bottom of the stairs. Please bring either:
A temporary protection document
A document demonstrating international protection
A receipt from the Questura stating that you’re formalizing international protections.
We’ll register you in our computer system and give you a JNRC access card. That’s it! You’re then able to use all of the JNRC’s services.
Returning guests:
Come to the JNRC any time during our opening hours. Just show your JNRC access card to enter.
To join a language class or access our job support, please visit the InfoPoint desk to register (for classes) or make an appointment (for job support). But to join us for breakfast, take a break with our library or games, or just to sit quietly, come any time during our open hours, 8:30am to 1:30pm!
